Hyaluronic acid injection

Injecting hyaluronic acid is a simple procedure for treating wrinkles, with results that are immediately visible and leave no scars. The best-known uses are in the hollows of dark circles, wrinkles, the upper lip, the nasolabial fold and the bitterness fold, the corner of the mouth, and the volume of the cheekbone and cheek.

Hyaluronic acid is the benchmark in fully absorbable products for filling, plumping or adding volume to areas lacking it. With this technique, wrinkles are filled by injecting the product directly into the dermis, without anesthesia, or with local anesthesia for lip reshaping.

In the long term, procedures should be repeated depending on the desired effect, with results lasting between 6 and 18 months.

The benefits of hyaluronic acid :

  • biocompatibility: hyaluronic acid is a constituent of the human body,
  • its non-animal origin: it is obtained by biosynthesis
  • no pre-testing required
  • it is a biodegradable product
  • can be injected by a surgeon or aesthetic physician

Unlike botulinum toxin, it does not act on muscles, and its action is limited to the volume it provides and to a moisturizing action.
