Microneedling

Microneedling is an innovative, non-invasive technique that is winning over more and more people who want to improve the quality and appearance of their skin. By stimulating the skin's natural regeneration mechanisms, this technique helps to treat a wide range of skin problems while delivering a radiant, rejuvenated complexion.

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, uses a device equipped with microneedles to create tiny perforations on the skin's surface. These micro-perforations, virtually invisible to the naked eye, trigger a natural healing process that stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. These two proteins play a key role in skin firmness and elasticity.

This type of treatment is appreciated for its ability to target a variety of skin problems, from wrinkles and acne scars to uneven skin tone and enlarged pores. Although an advanced technique, microneedling remains simple, safe and accessible when performed by qualified professionals.

How does microneedling work?

Before the session, the skin is thoroughly cleansed to remove all impurities. In some cases, a local anesthetic cream is applied to minimize discomfort during treatment.

The practitioner uses a special tool to make repeated passes over the targeted area. Micro-needles create channels in the skin, stimulating skin cells and activating regeneration mechanisms.

During the treatment, serums enriched with powerful active ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, peptides and vitamins are applied. Thanks to micro-lesions, these active ingredients penetrate deeper into the skin, enhancing their effectiveness.
Micro-needles don't cause lasting damage, their action sends a signal to the skin to repair and regenerate itself, improving its appearance and texture.

What are the benefits of microneedling?

Unlike other treatments, microneedling can be performed all year round. The benefits are many:

  • Stimulate cell regeneration and collagen production
  • Reduce visible imperfections (wrinkles, scars, spots, stretch marks).
  • Improve skin texture, elasticity and overall appearance.

For whom?

This treatment addresses a range of issues and is suitable for all profiles.
It is particularly recommended for :

  • Treat imperfections (irregularities, dilated pores)
  • Acne scars and stretch marks
  • Prevent or reduce fine lines and wrinkles
  • Treating hyper-pigmentation and dullness

Microneedling is not suitable in certain cases, notably for pregnant women, people with active skin conditions (psoriasis, eczema) or those undergoing specific medical treatments.

An initial consultation is essential to assess your eligibility.

What areas can be treated?

This type of treatment can be used to treat different areas:

1. The face

  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles (frown lines and crow's feet)
  • Skin firming for a more youthful, rested look

  • Reduce acne scars and irregularities
  • Tighten pores and smooth skin
  • Treat hyperpigmentation (sun spots, melasma, etc.)

  • Smooth fine lines and wrinkles around the lips

  • Reduce acne scars
  • Even skin tone

2. Neck and décolleté

These areas are often overlooked in daily skincare, yet they are the ones that give us away most easily.

  • Smooth fine lines and creases
  • Firm sagging skin
  • Even out color and texture, particularly in the case of pigmentation spots caused by sun exposure.

3. The hands

Hands, like the face, are exposed to external aggressions on a daily basis. This treatment will :

  • Reduce the appearance of age- and sun-related brown spots
  • Improve elasticity and hydration by stimulating collagen

4. Scalp

Less well known, this application of microneedling is increasingly used to treat hair loss and stimulate hair growth. It :

  • Improves blood circulation to hair follicles.
  • Facilitates penetration of specific sera, such as those containing minoxidil or growth peptides.

5. The body

  • Reduces stretch marks, whether recent (pink) or old (white).

  • Improves skin texture (rough or irregular, often associated with scars or loss of elasticity)

  • Treats acne scars and blemishes

  • Improves skin firmness, particularly useful in cases of sagging.
  • Evens skin tone
