Hyaluronic acid

The injection of hyaluronic acid is a simple action for the treatment of wrinkles, the results of which are visible immediately and leave no scars.

Hyaluronic acid is the totally resorbable reference product used to fill, plump or give volume to areas which are deficient in it.

In this technique the wrinkles are filled by injection of the product directly into the dermis, with anaesthetic or with a local anaesthetic to remodel the lip.

The best known applications relate to the tear troughs, wrinkles, the upper lip, the nasolabial fold and the bitterness fold, the corner of the mouth and the volume of the cheekbone and the cheek.

In the long term the operations must be renewed according to the desired effect,  in the knowledge that the results last for between approximately 6 and 18 months.

Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is present in the dermis. It is used in the form of a transparent, homogeneous viscoelastic gel whose advantages are:

Its biocompatibility: hyaluronic acid is one of the constituents of the human body.

Its non-animal origin: it is obtained by biosynthesis.

No prior test is required.

It is a biodegradable product.

Unlike botulinum toxin it does not act on the muscles and its action is limited to the volume it contributes and to a hydrating action.
